Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted October 25, 2010 Moderators Report Share Posted October 25, 2010 http://www.indystar.com/article/20101025/SPORTS04/101025026/Pacers-release-Magnum-Rolle-regular-season-roster-set Well, for now, if you want Solo, you'll have to trade for him. The Indiana Pacers’ roster is set. The Pacers released rookie forward Magnum Rolle today to get down to the league-mandatory 15 players. Rolle would have earned a guaranteed contract of $510,000 if he had made the roster. He’ll get $50,000 instead. The Pacers tried to package Dahntay Jones and Solomon Jones in a trade so they could keep Rolle, an athletic big man. They didn’t want to release Solomon Jones, who will make $1.5 million this season, because they’re thin on experience in the frontcourt. ~lw3

gsuteke
Wow - all I have to say is solo better be saving the large majority of what he's making right now. 1.5 million is a sweet living for that guy - in the here and now.
