noticed tha Zaza looks like he has trimmed down at least 15 pounds. I believe Woodson stunted him offensively . He seems to be taking a liking to the new motion offense, and the weight loss seems to be helping on both sides of the ball as well.

Yeah, it was pretty obvious that he look far more athletic than he did in the past. Similar to that season 4 years ago.

He slimed down to play more like a quick euro center, the kind that flourish in a Bob Weiss passing ( motion ) offense. Next thing you know he will be drilling 17 footers like Blair Rasmussen.

Playing in FIBA this year probably helped a lot. He had a great game.

Didn't Zaza play for the Georgia National Team this summer? I think so...Could be why is in better shape and his game looks sharp.

ZaZ also took up boxing lessons during the summer to help him with his balance and coordiantion. I am pretty sure he worked up a sweat during the times he sparred.

Ive always busted on ZaZa in the past but I will give him credit he played well in Memphis, in the past he he couldnt make a layup. I hope he keeps it up
