Admin
Last year we were 34-7 at home and 19-22 on the road and so far this year we're 14-7 at home and 15-9 on the road. Obviously we were far better at home last year than we've been this year but we've seen a tremendous improvement on the road and we seem to be a lot more balanced in our play and I think that will make us a better team come playoff time knowing that we can go into another teams building and beat them. So we we chalk this improvement up to the natural growth process or is this a direct reflection on swapping head coaches? And if that's the case then what was Woody doing at home that LD needs to learn?
gutz
Yeah it seems this year we are a worse home team than road team now. Doesn't make any sense really. We seem to get up more for the road games and think we can just win at home now.
MaceCase
Two things that were rare in the Woody era, road wins and wins on back to backs but we could always count on protecting homecourt. This season so far we've solved those issues but have lost our edge at home. LD spoke about distractions earlier during the year and whatever they may be (baby mamas, new club, new wife, side business enterprises) they seem to be still affecting the team. HawkItus
Remember that home record last year included some really close games(buzzer beaters etc.) If you believe what stastics say, then those games were bound to balance out to the norm this year. Add in injuries and you have us losing pace there The road wins have been IMO the result of a better offense system which gives us more consistent scoring.
