Start of the 4th Quarter

The fourth quarter numbers in terms of q rating and points show the two fundamental weaknesses of the Hawks:

1) Point guard- 4th quarters are when PGs or dominant players make their run. The Hawks have neither.

2) Lack of commitement to winning by the ASG. Spending the MLE on a guy like Shaq would have made a huge difference on this team. Beyond that, getting in another post player that can actually contribute would have been nice. Instead we get Powell and Etan. The ASG may be tapped out, but that is a fundamental problem they have to handle.

I wasn't bothered by the loss to the Mavs. 2nd night of a back to back on the road after an emotional game vs. the Knicks. A loss would be predicted for any team, including the upper echelon ones.
