Wurider05
I am not sure what was the rationale behind starting a center like Collins who brings nothing to the table. I mean Diaw, Brown, and Nazr are not dominate centers. Al is way better than all of them. Was starting Twin worth losing perimeter defense? Then why would he have Mo Evans in that late in the game instead of Marvin? He kept Bibby in the game even when their backcourt was Livingston and Captain Jack. We saw what 6'7 does to 6'2. We got so many problems its not even funny. Our problems extend way beyond Marvin Williams and Josh Smith folks Edited February 13, 2011 by Wurider05
Supporter
This team is flawed, and the only reason we are doing so well is because of having the same guys for 3 straight years. Management keeps talking about internal improvement but only because that is the cheapest way to improve. If we really want to even win 1 round in the playoffs we have to start trading for impact players because guys like Bibby and Marvin aren't cutting it as starters. HawksBalla
Collins is garbage, he should only play when we need the fouls against Orlando
Admin capstone21 Posted February 13, 2011 Admin Report Share Posted February 13, 2011 I think we need to switch things up but I agree Collins is a situational player. Last night was not the situation. At the same time, he did play well in the first quarter and was not the reason for our demise in the second half
Dexmethylphenidate
Collins is +9 for last night's game. Hawks didn't lose the game because of him. In fact, they lose the big lead when he came out of the game. My question is why is Zaza playing center in the 4th quarter... mixing up is good but there's a stretch where Zaza was the focal point in the offense. AHawks89
I don't know why he won't start Teague. It's obv that it's the PG, not the C position.
