Joker
45% FG; 39% from 3; 88 % FT I haven't even looked at his stats, I just assumed like a donkey. Thanks man but I seen a lot of him in Chicago and I know he can play and do what we need. I only seen a couple Wizards games but I know his skill-set and he's coming into his prime. A great get, no doubt if it happens.
Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted February 23, 2011 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 I think the Hawks and other teams want Marvin but to a degree and just because fans dislike him here doesn't mean that GM's feel the same way. Marvin can be a coup for Washington but I wouldn't care because Hinrich would be a coup for us. The Nets really could use Marvin. More than they can use Harris?? You're dreaming. Joker
More than they can use Harris?? You're dreaming. Harris has the VC effect without the VC talent. They would improve trading Harris for anything that's good or can be good.

Premium Member Wretch Posted February 23, 2011 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 Wait... Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait....hold on. Am I hearing you guys right? Just got back to my computer, checking the squawk and rumors....but... *takes a deep breath* *concentrates* *attempts to shake off buzzing effects of cheap 100 proof vodka* Ok so...hold on...lol Dallas offering an EXPIRING for Devin...? They are among the "likely" destinations... And the chances of Devin being moved are almost absolute? *takes another sip* *concentrates* *checks the twitter again* Wait...hold on...lol...waitaminute now... An expiring? For this guy who would be *PERFECT* for us... And seriously? We're not offering Marvin? They're interested in Marvin? LOL....we could deal Marvin for Devin Harris? There is no way that's legit and we're holding out with Marvin. NO EFFING WAY. If Dallas gets Harris with an expiring or we seriously could get this deal done with Marvin... MY.........GOD. How does this not get done for us? At this point, I think Marvin has managed to get his hands on compromising photos of the ASG, a la Mark Lemke/Bobby Cox. Seriously man...W.....T................F... Marvin24Williams
Don't say we, just you and the Sessions-sexuals who thinks he's a good basketball player. At this point of their careers, Sessions > Hinrich.
Bawse
Isn't that the age where most players enter their prime no, most players establish themselves as good players at around 24-25(that's being generous) and around 30 begins the maturing/teaching chapter. mike bibby is 32, is he in his prime? frankthetank966
Devin Harris > Marvin WIlliam value to this team. We have no true PG and we have several guys capable of playing the 3 and 4. Marvin is a piece of the puzzle whereas Harris is the piece to the puzzle that has been missing for a while. JohnnyCASH
its over DAL and POR only serious suitors in mix for Nets' Harris at present. Told there's more to settle w/POR than just Andre Miller for Harris— Marc Stein (@ESPNSteinLine) February 23, 2011 :sobbing:

MaceCase
What people should take from this is that the ASG really value Jamal. Andre's deal is unguaranteed for next season and is 1 year less than Harris' regardless and then Caron is expiring. Mo and Jamal were really our only plays for him.
