Kimsey
Our first rounder will be top 20, our schedule was rated as easiest in the nba, so I'm guessing it will even out as hardest the rest of the way.
Premium Member Sothron Posted February 24, 2011 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2011 You know...the same exact thing was said about the 2009 draft. Only time will tell but practically every draft expert has this upcoming draft as a very weak draft that compares to the 2000 draft.
bonethugz
If there is any draft where a late first rounder is almost meaningless it is this draft. This draft is the worst draft since 2000. then a late first round, or even a second round is just as valuable

Superiorblogman
You can get quality in the 1st round. It's also the principle if Hinrich plays great he will give us 15 pts and 5 assist a game. That's what Bibby was done when he first came. I'm just saying this is not pushing us up in standings or box office. This is a lateral move at best with the potential to be horrible if Jordan is a 15 pt a game guy within 3 years and they pick Bebe with our 1st and he turns into the next Tyson Chandler. Horrible deal when all these better players were available. :thumbsdownsmileyanim:
MVP23
LMFAO!! MY 8 year old brothers hears we're trading for Kirk Hinrich "Who is Kirk Hinrich". My 8 year old brother hears we're trading Jordan Crawford "What? He just got here this season" My 8 year old brother hears we're trading Mike Bibby " But he can shoot" My 8 year old brother hears we're trading Mo Evans "..Ok, thats fine"

And we know that his defense is better. So it is an upgrade, just nothing that makes us elite. But on most nights we are close, maybe this bridges that gap so that we are not an easy out this year. GameTime
Why are we happy Jamal isn't part of the deal? I much rather have MJ Craw and a 1st back then Craw who is GONE AFTER THIS YEAR.

frankthetank966
I dont see why we did this to be honest. I like Bibby a lot this season. He has been a good 3 PT shooter and would be a great bench player. We should have gone elsewhere. On top of that we gave them Crawford and a future #1 pick. Dumb dumb dumb! Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted February 24, 2011 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2011 SpearsNBAYahoo: Wiz agree 2 trade G Kirk Hinrich & C Hilton Armstrong to ATL for G Mike Bibby, F Mo Evans, G Jordan Crawford & a No. 1 pick, sources tell Y! [via Twitter] About ti,e, but I really would rather have Sessions. Oh well, I guess I should be happy anyway.
Premium Member Sothron Posted February 24, 2011 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted February 24, 2011 I don't understand how anyone who watches this team is going to miss Bibby. That guy has killed us on defense more than any Hawk player I can remember in team history. He can't defend AT ALL anymore. Now our defense won't be so porous. This is a great trade. We aren't really giving up much and our team gets a definite improvement. This is a win/win.

DJlaysitup
So let's see...we get an upgrade at PG (a need) and we get a decent big (another need) and we don't trade any of our core, and we still have our best trade asset (CrawSr). Cool!!

I love Bibby as Eddie House of the bench. He did not need to be traded he needed to go to the bench. The guy has made more clutch shots then anyone we currently have on our roster. This team sucks bad. Hinrich is a lateral move in so many ways. Bibby is better in the clutch, giving up Jordan is not smart, and our 1st round pick could be good u don't know who falls there, it could also be package for the Wiz to move up. I mean this is a dumb deal. :thumbsdownsmileyanim:
Supporter
This is a good trade but we could've gotten Hinrich for less, I really didn't want Jordan Crawford and a 1st involved,....sigh. I feel like I would be happier if it were just Jamal crawford for Hinrich straight up. :kickcan:
