According to Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Hawks forward Josh Smith has a sprained left elbow. But Cunningham adds he's expected to play in Tuesday night's Game 2 against the Magic. Considering it's the playoffs, Smith would appear likely to gut out the injury the rest of the way. But if he misses any time, it's possible Marvin Williams would be in line for more playing time.

Not thrilled to hear that he's got an injury but at least it's his elbow and not one of his wheels.

Any word on how Collin's ankle and his head are doing after game 1?

The one and only good thing about this spread out playoff format is the ability to rest nagging injuries. We don't play again until Friday, so if he can play, he will. Then rest for three days...

Injured players usually look to avoid contact. I fear this might mean more jumpers. We shall see.
