I think the Cavs will win.

BUT, I think we will see some things about this team. How will we play together? Even with SJack on the bench, we should be able to tell if Theo, Reef, and JT are on the same page.

What about Diaw? I want to see Diaw in there with some real talent. Same for Dickau.

I don't see Nailon being a good pickup. Will he prove me wrong.

Gray Mule, are you going to the game??

"Hawks coach Terry Stotts is feeling good after one week of workouts, his first training camp as an NBA head coach. After a long summer of decisions involving his status and the additions to his roster, capped by Friday's signing of swingman Stephen Jackson, he looks forward to getting the athletic, 6-8 guard-forward on the floor Monday. Stotts says Hawks fans shouldn't expect him to see action in Wednesday's game against LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Jackson will have only had the opportunity to workout three times with his teammates and with eight games on the exhibition schedule, there's no reason to rush him. "Stephen adds versatility, great athleticism and toughness to our roster," said Stotts, "and he also brings a championship mentality to the team. I'm very happy, (after a tough summer) everything has worked out very well. Stephen's a great fit for us and we are a great fit for him."

Gray Mule is about 2 hours from anywhere here in

Western North Carolina. 2 hours from Atlanta, Knoxville,

Chattanooga and Asheville. No, I won't be able to go.

Hawks have 2 that will not play, according to the poop

I have on the game. SAR is not quiet ready to test his

surgically repaired back and Dickau still is bothered by

a foot injury suffered in summer league.

Neither is expected to be out for an extended period

but probably will not play in the first few pre-season

games. This is both good and bad. They need the work

to prepare for the season and that's bad. Since they

aren't playing, someone else will get a lot more playing

time, and that is good. Hawks need to see what they

have. Should be interesting.

I believe that the game was sold out soon after it was

announced that L. James would be there.
