Jason Kidd

The U-Niques want to add some additional depth and leadership to this team and select Jason Kidd. He is a first ballot HOFer but what is also good to know is that he was the starting PG on the NBA champions and still put up an excellent .116 WS/48 last year to go with his 17th consecutive season with a PER of 14.4 or higher. Kidd will be ready to step in if Paul or Jameer get hurt, will provide leadership and depth off the bench, and will essentially provide an assistant coach on the bench and the floor. If he follows Stockton's lead, he will have another 3 solid years left in his legs but with a lot more rest to keep fresh.

Courtney Lee is a good pick. And my stupid self, who needed a PG, should've taken Jason Kidd as one of my final picks.So I'll make up for it and take this guy- Baron DavisHe's "only" 31, believe it or not, and he didn't have a horrible year last year ( 13 points - almost 7 assists - shot almost 42% FG - 33% 3FG - 1.3 stls ). Basically, it was a typical Baron Davis type year. He ranked #22 in efficiency amongst PGs ( according to hooppstats.com ). That puts him ahead of guys like Jameer Nelson and Devin Harris. It will give me 2 starter quality veteran PGs to man the team for the first few years, before I can draft the future replacement at the position. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1T0KwsgaxwQPlus, Baron already has experience in playing with Blake Griffin. The duo was pretty good when they played together.

He's a young (25 y.o.) SG who really blossomed this season in Denver's high octane offense. I think he'd be an awesome guy to add scoring off my bench, as he is an excellent shooter, ranking 2nd amongst all SG's in FG% at .498 and 2nd amongst SG's and 8th in the NBA in 3PT% at .423. He's also deadly from the FT line, so he'd be a nice little player to give 20--25 minutes per game to.

The Perfect Balance will select Thabo Sefolosha with their 13th Round selection. Thab is one of the most respected perimeter defenders in the league who is in the mold of a Bruce Bowen (minus the bow-ties). At 27 years of age I expect him to be a valueable role player for this team who can defend SGs and SFs. Sefolosha will probably be bumped ahead of the inexpierenced W. Johnson on the depth chart, by Doc Rivers, and will also see minutes at SG when B Gordon is too cold or too small to be effective.
