Not homecourt material but it's going there anyway

Appreciate that Dolf. Honestly, it was something he was close to over the summer, he'd done pre high school and only gave up 3 hits the previous game but a no no is just such a touchy thing. Should have been a perfect but we'll take the no no. Not a big guy either. Just 5'7" but has great location and movement. A pitcher, not a thrower which is so rare in high school.

Solid. Keeping that ball down in the zone, huh.

That's exactly it BHboy. Spot your fastball and curveball on both sides of the plate...entice with the thigh high, middle of the plate changeup (the looks like a fastball mistake). You have to be able to throw your 2 main pitches both inside and out....don't miss in the middle.

Any schools looking at him?

Wanted to update you guys on this. We're working with Savannah State right now. They have the degree program he wants through graduate degree (marine biology). Had our visit yesterday. Went very well. We're just working out the details now. But 90% sure he'll be an SSU Tiger next year.

Great news!! Congratulations!!

Tell your son to look up, in history of the majors, Bobby Shantz.

I remember him. Announcer said he was so small the pitch looked like

it was just coming up out of the ground!

Already looking at graduate school? That's a bold move right there. If he's sure he wants that then cool, but I think that is too far away at this stage to actually be certain.Congrats on being close to deciding on a school though! It is certainly a different aspect in college to play a sport but its a good different. Really teacheds you to manage time efficiently.

He's wanted to study this since he was 10.
