Moderators macdaddy Posted September 19, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted September 19, 2012 So with or without Joe we have a team with no one in the top 30 players. I wonder how many teams are in that situation. I figure about half the league? Not that these rankings mean much.

Moderators macdaddy Posted September 20, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted September 20, 2012 Yup at 30 Sorry. I wonder how many teams don't have a player in the top 29?
Admin capstone21 Posted September 20, 2012 Admin Report Share Posted September 20, 2012 Charlotte doesn't even have anyone in the top 100Its all subjective anyway. Who would you rather have? Paul Pierce or Horford? Paul Pierce or DeMarcus Cousins? Pierce will be rated above them but there are A LOT of players I would rather have. pimp
Sorry. I wonder how many teams don't have a player in the top 29? I would say that most teams don't have a player in the Top 29 because 20 of the top 29 play on 7 teams. Lakers 4,Heat 3 Thunder 3 ,Spurs 3 Celtics 3 , Clippers 2 . the Hawks almost have 2 in the Top 30 ,WIth Horford being 30 and Josh 31 And Duncan, Garnett, Nash, Dirk, and PP have to retire sometime ;)

TheNorthCydeRises
Final review of the Hawks #NBA Rank . . ( possible projected starters in BOLD ) #30 - Al Horford #31 - Josh Smith #88 - Lou Williams #108 - Devin Harris #109 - Jeff Teague #186 - Kyle Korver #196 - Anthony Morrow #223 - Zaza Pachulia #312 - Ivan Johnson #319 - Deshawn Stevenson #397 - Johan Petro #398 - John Jenkins #424 - James Anderson . . ( not sure how likely he is to make the team though ) #439 - Damion James #457 - Jordan Williams #481 - Mike Scott ******** With no superstar on the team, we need our top 6 or 7 players to play at the highest level possible, to be a playoff team. And with the way the team is constructed, I don't see how we can't avoid starting Josh Smith at SF. I just hope he's more of a passer and transition player at that position, than a primary scorer in the halfcourt.

If we want to be Pistons like we need all of our five starters in the top 100 and possibly at least 4 in the top 75.
