Colin is a good writer. But some of the reasons why people should like the Hawks . . . are Ivan and Zaza? That's actually kinda bad. If some of the main reasons to like the Hawks are the reserve role players, then we won't get many people to start liking this team, outside of those who already follow the team. This is almost along the lines of . . "a fans should root for the Kings because they have Chuck Hayes, or root for the Nets, because they have Reggie Evans.We honestly need Horford or Smith to take their games to the next level, so people would want to come see THEM, instead of our reserves for 10 - 20 minutes a game.

If Ivan remains free of incarceration between now and the start of the season I think he can be a key player in our new running approach. He is a force inside an an excellent rebounder...he has great hands for his size and can flat out FLUSH the ball into the hoop when he gets an opening.

Not saying he will be a starter maybe - but a big force off the bench.

That is - if he's not on a chain gang in Louisiana...
