The Reasons Why we Lost the Game.

1. George Lynch domination of Shareef offensively and Defensively. It's sad that a guy who is supposed to be our number 1 option can't consistenly get shots up against a tweener like Lynch. Stotts should have pulled Shareef late in the 4th and inserted Diaw because the Hornets were pressing everyone and forcing Reef to bring it up the court.

2. Turnover also hurt us because when the hornets pick up full court none of our key offensive guys are comfortable enough with the basketball to bring the ball up

I think that we are really in a bind because none of our primary scorers can handle the basketball good enough to disrupt any team that's applying pressure full court. The guys that are capable of helping JT with some of the ball handling duties are liabilites on offense (Vaughn and Diaw.)

A guy like Grant Hill or even Penny Hardaway would help our team out tremendously because even though they aren't as good as they used to be they are offensive minded and can handle the basketball.

I think it was good that the Hawks played a tough defensive minded team like the Hornets out of the gate. This will help them out when they face a tough team like the Pacers. They should know how to counteract tough defensive pressure. Maybe this lost will help them iron out the kinks in their offense.

Turnovers and poor shot selection.

It's that simple. We shot ourselves in the foot in this game.

Defensively, the Hawks played great. They held New Orleans to 32.5% from the field and had 11 blocked shots along with 11 forced turnovers.

Offensively, they simply cost themselves points by turning the ball over and taking bad shots.

Simply put, if the Hawks protect the ball and don't take stupid shots, they win this game going away.

Turnovers will happen when you play an up tempo style of offense like the Hawks run, but getting 25 of them is ridiculous.

That's crud....New Orleans got into the lane time after

time...Baron Davis blew by JT several times and got in

the lane....Theo has to come help....Hornets miss...Hornets

get offensive rebound over and over again.

Hotlanta - realizing that you're upset...but comeon, you've got to give some credit where credit is due...and a team doesn't just shoot 32% for no reason. Somebody played good D...and if Ratliff was altering those shots, then he wsa doing his job as well...

that's when people get tired...all crap NO credit.
