Premium Member Peoriabird Posted November 10, 2012 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 So why is Teague playing only 27 minute and Korver playing 30 minutes? Why did Anthony Morrow play 15 minute but Lou Williams 19 minutes? Why did that Fool Drew ask Morrow to guard Rashard Lewis? Ivan Johnson only 5 Minutes really? Why are we trying to work the ball to Josh Smith on almost every possession? Only 9 shots for Horford? 4 of 5 at half time? Really? What is this love affair with Korver? Does Drew recognize when players are cold and when they are hot? Is his rotations are going to remain this rigid all season long? Hopefully Ferry sees what other see and brings in a coach who know what the h-ll they are doing soon. Because Larry Drew sucks!!!!!!!
Plainview1981
If they fire him they will probably hire Mike Brown. Who's only success came from having Lebron James on his team.

TheTruth
On the Falcons board we say, "Dimitroff'd" as in GM Thomas Dimitroff. We say it when something (usually good) happens with one of his personnel moves. We should start saying "Drew'd" but in reverse...for LD's constant head-scratching decisions. As I say, Woody no Goody, Drew has no clue, and Brown is a clown. JackB1
Drew needs to grow a pair and sit Josh down when he starts jacking up jumpers. How much longer do we have to put up with Josh doing as he pleases?
Moderators macdaddy Posted November 10, 2012 Moderators Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 He actually did sit Josh down. LD gets zero credit for taking a loose group of expiring contracts to OKC and winning and gets all the blame for a close loss to the heat. Quick, name a Hawks coach where we were happy with the substitution patterns.

Premium Member Peoriabird Posted November 10, 2012 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted November 10, 2012 2 early fouls for Teague kept him out pretty much the whole 1st quarter. Then explain why Korver, Lou Williams, and Devin Harris all got more minutes than our second leading scorer in the game?

rusty
How does having 2 fouls prevent you from playing in the 3rd and 4th quarters? without a doubt ,ferry can be blind, only a truly blind person wouldn't see how lousy LD is.

Hopefully Ferry sees what other see and brings in a coach who know what the h-ll they are doing soon. Because Larry Drew sucks!!!!!!! 1. Teague got into early foul trouble and had to sit. It's also the only reason Morrow got in the game. Korver is a big body on an undersized team, so of course he is going to get a ton of minutes whether his shot is on or not. 2. As I said, Morrow only got minutes in the first place once Teague was in foul trouble. Lou is our sixth man and has been a scoring machine for us in the 4th. He had one bad game and you don't bench a guy like that for a bad shooting night. If Lou would have ended the game on a streak, there would have been not question why he was out there. 3. Morrow was matched up against Lewis because that is what happens when you are an undersized team and Smith and Korver need a break. Deshawn was on LeBron, so you end up with 6'4" 210 Morrow vs. 6'10" 230 Lewis. 4. Ivan wasn't that great in the 5 minutes he was out there. He is outmatched against Bosh and Battier and he isn't a scoring threat. 5. Drew had success with working the offense through Josh in the post in the Indiana game until they started double teaming him. Drew was just going to what worked. I do agree that Horford needs at least 12-15 shots per game. 6. LD isn't a bad coach and doesn't suck, but he isn't great either and there is room for improvement. He isn't nearly as bad as John Kuester's stint in Detroit. I'll be willing to bet if the Hawks don't resign him, no one else in the league would hire him as their head coach Portland was awfully fond of Drew before the Hawks' picked up his option... He's been in the league way too long not to find a job with somebody if the Hawks DO let him go... He'll be back though, he's cheap and hasn't destroyed the team.
