NO, just another few years of first round exit with maybe a glimpse of the seond round. Rather play the lottery and at least have a chance at more. Smith is the only logic trade piece (keeping Horf; Lou, Teague and the rooks) that might give us a chance at the mini-rebuild that might produce more. Let Smith go play SF for someone else

What we would get in a trade for smith doesn't put us in contention either. Who do we get? Pau Gasol and his19mill a year, no thanks. I want no part of the lottery. I'm used to winning, I want to keep a winner. Keeping josh keeps us a winner. This off season we can begin building a challenging team. Josh, Al, Lou give us a good place to start. Add O.J. Mayo or Kevin Martin or maybe Monta Ellis is available. Can't get a two guard. How about a sf like dorrell wright or Corey Brewer. Add a big like Chris kaman or even All Jefferson. The point is, we can't mess around and let josh get away because there's no one who can replace him, that we can get. Trading him does us no good either. Just keep our key pieces, and build around them correctly.
