Plainview1981
I'll give you he would lead us in scoring but we don't need a guy on his last leg in the league. I would rather start all the way over instead of trading for a locker room cancer like Pierce who doesn't have many years left in him. I'm not saying when need him or should trade for him. I post this to show how big of a disappointment both Josh and Al have been.
Guest
He would most likely be the best player but how nuch further is that going to take us in the playoffs? No Thanks.
Guest
No way. Hate Pierce. Pierce is a Celt for life. I just puked.
Q45T
Jeff Green is the only player on the Celtics that I'd ever want on my team... Pierce regularly "dies" on defense anyway.
Premium Member Vol4ever Posted January 24, 2013 Premium Member Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 If PP had a lot left in the tank, Boston would not even think about trading him. That being said, he is head and shoulders better than anyone on our roster. I would not trade for him though, because of his age
Admin capstone21 Posted January 24, 2013 Admin Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 There is no player in the league that I dislike more the PP
TheNorthCydeRises
The sad part is that PP is still better than anybody on this team. That's probably true. But I was forced to root for Jamal Crawford for 2 years. Please don't make me root for that punk PAUL PIERCE.

Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted January 24, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted January 24, 2013 (edited) The Hawks have also had one of the weakest schedules in the league: http://espn.go.com/nba/stats/rpi/_/sort/SOS/order/false And Boston's an underwhelming 16th as well (.497 to.484). A team no one had below Atlanta at any point of the NBA season, despite knowing we had a weaker schedule due to division play since October. A team with 7 of their top 9 players with no injuries or suspensions. They can keep him. They deserve each other. ~lw3 Edited January 24, 2013 by lethalweapon3
