Moderators AHF Posted February 21, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted February 21, 2013 I love it. Sekou is yesterday saying that Josh is not demand the max and that he is open to Atlanta and then coming out after the trade deadline saying Josh is gone for sure. *#$&*#
Deeman
It's not like Danny Ferry is dying to sign him either. That said a lot could happen between now and June.
AHawks89
Just like how Josh Smith will definitely be traded by Thursdays trade deadline.

wolvetigers
Would of love to have a draft pick in this years draft, but let some other team sign Josh Smith..If I'm Danny Ferry i dont even do a sign and trade to give him that extra year..I would just let him walk it out..

Plainview1981
Hasn't deals been pulled off after the trade deadline? Or atleast they get reported way after the deadline.
Bahamut
A few minutes ago on NBA.com, he said that Josh would keep the Hawks on his list in FA. Sekou is the Josh Smith of NBA writers.
TheNorthCydeRises
It'll be interesting to see how the rest of this season plays out. Josh is a professional, so he'll probably play out the rest of the year with no problem. But he's going to play the way HE wants to play from now on. The fans booing or cheering for the other team isn't going to mean anything to him anymore. The fans moaning when he takes a 3 won't phase him either ( not that it was phasing him in the first place ). Josh will go to Houston, if they can't get Dwight . . and turn the Rockets into a legit playoff team, with Harden as the superstar . . Lin as the PG . . and Smith as the highlight dunker and defender. Teague and Horford better develop quickly . . along with Jenkins.
AHawks89
So now you're selectively believing what you want regarding Sekou's report? I see... No, Sekou was interviewing Josh. Josh wasn't interviewing Sekou. All of what I said was coming from Josh's mouth on NBAtv, not Sekous.
TheNorthCydeRises
Hasn't deals been pulled off after the trade deadline? Or atleast they get reported way after the deadline. Yes . . . sometimes 2 hours after the deadline. The only thing that has to happen, is for the deal to be submitted to the league office.
AHawks89
Sekou Smith @SekouSmithNBAHawks were adamant about not taking on any salary in any potential deal for Josh Smith and stuck to it. They'll take the cap space instead.

And for him to say that an hour after the interview with him too.

Haha that's funny. I've heard that name one other time, on the show Parenthood there's an occasional character by that name.

And for him to say that an hour after the interview with him too. He's making an assumption. He just has that feeling. You actually think Josh told him there's no chance of him staying in ATL? No way. I was basing my info of actual footage of Josh talking on NBATV. I don't listen to these clowns assumptions. I like hearing from the man himself.
