Premium Member sturt Posted February 25, 2013 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 25, 2013 I dispute the conclusion that he's so bad on D... I see him working pretty hard when he's out there. I also dispute that "attack the rim" necessarily means a guy has to dunk for that to apply. But I'll agree to this much--that it doesn't appear that Drew wants him doing so. I'm just asserting it's not like he's never done that before.
Bahamut
The other guys need to feed him more. There are times Jenk gets wide open and someone else will take a contested shot instead of passing. Gosh, I wonder who that could be?
LastDon
We need John Jenkins to be our JJ Redick..I like how they are allowing him to play some backup point so he can improve his handle and learn to create instead of simply being a set shooter..He should study tape of Reddick.. Guest
I think LD's directive is shoot when you're open and not much else.
thecampster
I really like Jenkins. Defensively he has good feet. He just needs time to adjust to the speed and precision of the NBA game. I'm very thrilled with Jenkins. And his handles and ability to get to the basket are better than most of you are giving him credit for.
GameTime
Dell Curry is a good comparison.
benhillboy
The kid is willing to work, smart, and has an outstanding skill to build his game around. Can't ask for anything more. His handles and strength will come in time I'm sure.

And he isn't bad at all from what I've observed.
