Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted June 30, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 Hakeem Olajuwon and James Harden will join members of the Houston Rockets' front office and Kevin McHale in their recruiting pitch to Dwight Howard shortly after midnight EST on Sunday. The Rockets are reportedly one of the frontrunners to sign Howard this offseason. Howard is considering leaving the Los Angeles Lakers where he did not enjoy playing in Mike D'Antoni's offense.Sam Amick of USA Today reports that the Golden State Warriors will meet with Howard on Monday, along with the Atlanta Hawks. The Dallas Mavericks will meet with Howard on Tuesday, according to ESPN's Chris Broussard. Mark Cuban and Dirk Nowitzki will lead the Mavericks' contingent. Premium Member hawkman Posted June 30, 2013 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 30, 2013 We got nothin' but the promise that he will be the cornerstone of the franchise from now on and that we are trying to do things the 'right' way. I'm pretty sure the other franchises are saying the same things. In the end, it's all about what Dwight really wants.

Kimsey
So Monday is D-Day. Gotta see what Ferry is made of. This is the difference between a full blown rebuild or possibly a frontcourt consisting of Al, Dwight, and Josh. Can't help but to get excited Edited June 30, 2013 by Kimsey
Guest
Mike Trudell: I asked @Kobe Bryant about D12: "It has to be his decision. The last thing you want to do is convince a person that they want to be here."Twitter @LakersReporter Mike Trudell: Kobe cont'd: "If you have to convince them when challenges or adversity comes up next season, it's very easy to say, 'Well they had to convince me to be here anyway, I really didn't want to be here, I'd rather be (somewhere else) but they sold me on it.'" Twitter @LakersReporter Mike Trudell: In short, Kobe absolutely wants Howard to return. His point is you can't force a decision; he hopes Howard wants to stay. tonegully
I guess D12 doesnt understand how much of a legend he would become if he won a title with the Hawks. Shoot he'll be on Nique level if he just gets us to the ECF lol. I guess he can go to Houston with Harden and thats pretty much it. He could come here and contend for a title for years. It should make you want to get better. If i was a NBA player and i played with Kobe my goal would to be better than him. And i would tell him that too. WraithSentinel
Here is hoping DF got Jefferson's agent on speed dial. He will need to place that phone call immediately after meeting with Howard. Assuming it even get to the Hawks. Wouldn't be surprise if the Rockets & Howard strike a deal right away.
