NBASupes
If we get Bynum can we still match and re-sign Teague? It depends, it has to be under the 58.5 mil cap and it has to be at his caphold or under it. If he signed the QO, it's likely. The problem is Milwaukee seems to want Jeff and are likely willing to offer him regardless so it's Jennings or Ellis or no Jeff at all. It seems like Coach Bud likes Ellis more but Ellis has a lot of suitors, Jennings due to his natural position being loaded, doesn't.

You sure we can sign-n-trade for Ellis/Jennings with Bynum signed for 10-12 mill?
NBASupes
You sure we can sign-n-trade for Ellis/Jennings with Bynum signed for 10-12 mill? All contracts have to be renounced and it depends on what Ellis or Jennings is getting. Bynum getting more than 10 might be a B. We have 38 if everyone is renounced or the Euros are sent to Europe.SnT Jeff's caphold 6 mil for Jennings or Ellis. We would still have money left for two 10 mil dollar first year players. If it's too much, we can then flip Lou Williams to Milwaukee as well for picks. Edited July 10, 2013 by nbasupes40retired
Moderators AHF Posted July 10, 2013 Moderators Report Share Posted July 10, 2013 The statement on Teague is wrong. We have to account for Teague's cap hold when we sign Bynum. Then we can max Teague if we want.
RWF
Bucks sound like they really want Teague so they could offer him something we won't. The best situation IMO, is to get Bynum then S&T Teague for Brandon Jennings.

Then we can max Teague if we want.To sign Bynum to a 10 mil deal first year meaning, we have to renounce Ivan and Tolly. Then cut Deshawn's deal. That would give us enough to pay Bynum 10 mil. To get Jennings or Ellis for 10-11. We have to SnT Teague caphold then keep the Euros in Europe and that's it. If Ellis or Jennings wants 11-12 mil first year which would be a deal over 13+ average. We would have to trade Cunningham for cap or even Lou is an option then who would give us flexibility.

"If we want" Teague is the question. More than the Bucks?

Packfill
Not so long as you have a shot changer in the post. Gasol is the reason Memphis can play damn near anyone at SF and still be a solid team. Um, Memphis has one of the NBA's premier wing defenders on their team so I don't think they are a viable comp. Alex
I don't understand all this love for Carroll. The guy isn't a good player. He tries hard, but he has no offensive game to speak of and him playing more than 6 minutes a game is sad.
