Without a Lottery pick, what will Ferry do?

We've still got a ways to go before the end of the season, but more and more it appears the Nets will make the playoffs which will leave the Hawks without a lottery pick. Without that pick, what realistic avenues do you see that Ferry can take to get the Hawks the impact player they lack?

It's not going to be a good offseason once again. The assets we have are Horf, Teague, and Millsap. Our draft pickis prob middle of the pack. Coach Bud has done a unbelievable job and the best hire in the last 15 years. Unless we make a good showing this season and win a playoff series it's hard to see a free agent wanting to come here.The organization is much better. We don't have any major assets or draft picks. And the big question is will the ASG spend the money for a major free agent?

Those are my concerns also. Bud makes our team look good, but he can't work miracles. We just don't have the assets to get that key player.

Who says we have to get Andrew Wiggins? We're stating a concern that without the valuable asset of a lottery pick, it's going to be VERY difficult to get the centerpiece player we need.

No...But we are competitive with those so called "Major issues" and that is with out Al Horford. Cleveland, Wash., Charlotte, Minnesota, Sac, etc have a team full of high draft picks but they don't win. This team should help you understand that talent isn't the only thing that wins you games.

No, talent isn't the only thing. But it's a pretty big part of the equation.

It doesn't matter when you run a solid organization good things happen to you, that's what's happening now. We'll find a guy who nobody else thinks can do that much Bud will go I can make him a star in my system and he will become one
