It's only ridiculous if you think the NBA minimum salary is ridiculous. Ten-day contracts pay ten days' worth of minimum salary.

They make money for sure but you also have to pay at least an agent if not a lawyer too.

I think we released Cartier because we didn't want to commit for the whole season. We want an available roster spot for a trade.
