Moderators AHF Posted February 19, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Good to hear. Hope he doesn't start a marketing campaign with the comeback like RG3, Rose, etc.
Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted February 19, 2014 Author Moderators Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 Honestly, I hope he doesn't come back this season at all. Just get healthy, get stronger, and come back for 2014/15 better than ever.
Moderators macdaddy Posted February 19, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted February 19, 2014 I don't think the Hawks would let him come back this season. Too risky.

Guest
Update: Al Horford won't try and return for the playoffs if the Atlanta Hawks make the postseason. The Hawks center tore his right pectoral muscle on Dec. 26 and hasn't played since. He tore the left one in the 2011 and returned to play later that season. "No. I think it would be hard. This injury, honestly, was a little more severe than the other one," he explained Thursday in his first meeting with reporters since the injury. "And it's my right side, shooting arm, and I need to feel 100 percent confident with it, so I think it's going to be a little bit slower." Too risky and he knows we're not going anywhere except possibly winning one game in the first round...if we get there.
