Popular Post Admin
Amazing, amazing effort from Teague and he looks like a completely different guy than the one I saw struggling so much throughout this season. He was just unstoppable and looked confident throughout and he is a dangerous player when he's playing like that. Just cannot overstate how happy I am to see that Teague and hope this is a sign of things to come. Millsap was terrific, Carroll was awesome on both ends with timely insane baskets and terrific D on George. Antić completely took Hibbert out of the game and I loved seeing that. Korver worked his butt off, Mack had a couple big buckets, Brand had a big impact on the game in his minutes and if I'm forgetting someone please let me know. Coach Bud is getting more and more of my respect as I feel so good about this team at least showing up to play every single game now and no matter what the opponent does we don't get too high or too low and we work. Oh and that it sucks having to DVR the game and basically stay off the internet for nearly 24 hours but with us getting this win and my superstition I may try and do it again so that we can "steal" game 2. PS - suck it Bill Simmons!

Popular Post JTB
Ya know out all posters on here that has been bashing Teague including me and dolf, why are we the only ones giving Teague his props when he actually steps up in some of the most important games. I admit I couldn't stand Teague in a lot of the regular season games but it wasn't because I thought he sucked, it was because I know he has skills but he was just being too passive too much until recently. Teague deserves BIG props right now and I hope he continues this great play cause this is how you make a name for yourself in this league.
ATLHawks3
Teague always plays well against number 1 seeds in the playoffs. (Remember 2011 vs. the Bulls?)
Premium Member Vol4ever Posted April 21, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 This board has bashed Teague to no end ever since DF signed him to that contract. He did not play well in between the the first week or so of the season and the last few games of the season. He turned in a great first game, the Pacers didn't know what hit them. Keep it up Jeff. DJlaysitup
Oh please Dolfan...you can't just "miss the game" and then regurgitate a bunch of stuff that others have already posted...and get credit. BE there for your team or admit that you sucked on your fanhood. I'm tracking your fanhood and you have dropped 6% in the last 20 hours. Better get your ass in gear son. Moderators AHF Posted April 21, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 Hate to think how much I must suck after being this late to the discussion after being out of pocket with family and traveling with work, but I actually watched this one with my father and loved every minute of it! If Teague plays with this mentality on a consistent basis, he will have the devotion of 99% of Squawkers. Can't wait to watch some TNT tonight! Go Hawks!! DrReality
Carroll's defense needs to be acknowledged. As does Teague's coach-ability. You know Budz is talking to him about his 'A' game. bring it.
Moderators AHF Posted April 21, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted April 21, 2014 (edited) I live almost as far from Indy as Atlanta, but do love being able to watch the Hawks on TV with no problem. I saw more Hawks games in Atlanta this season than Indy (none for the latter) and expect that to continue. I will watch tonight's from a third state entirely. Ryaan
Game 2 is where we finally find out if Teague is ready to be a top point guard. No one doubts his ability, it's his inconsistency, good luck Jeff!
