5]The Toronto Raptors have agreed to send veteran small forward John Salmons and a second-round draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks in exchange for veteran guard Lou Williams and 21-year-old center Lucas Nogueira, two people with knowledge of the deal confirmed to USA TODAY Sports.

I had no idea Bebe was 21! Dang, he's that old and wasn't good enough to make to the Association? Good riddance, washed up prospect.

When you've got the ability to sign BOTH CP3 and Dwight (from a cap space perspective), signing Millsap isn't exactly something worth being proud of.

It's like trying to pick up a hot pair of twins at the bar and ending up at home with the ugly girl who'd put out... but was really good at it. In the end you had a good night but not something you'd brag about.

EXCEPT the ugly girl in the bar was some J-Smith... that many in this board would like to have at the time.

Millsap is keine Miss Universe, but is certainly a hot date! (NO HOMO)

Who's their source I wonder.

On the points scale, 17 million for CP3 = 10 (hot girl rating) and 17 million for D12 = 10 and 9 million to Millsap = 6. buba.gif

Trading Bebe is a no win for Ferry. He didn't get value for him. If he sucks, then he shouldn't have drafted him. If he's NBA worthy, he shouldn't have traded him.

It depends what Ferry does with that cap space.  If he has a plan to take us to the next level with that cap space, then he absolutely did get value for him.

If he is just flotsam to grease the wheels of the deal, then I agree with you that it reflects negatively on Ferry's management of last year's draft.
