ALmesty: Should we legitimately discuss amnestying Al?

Better question might be who thinks he should/shouldn't be traded.  I'd say no to amnesty, yes to trade.

I wouldn't Amnesty Al. I'd hate losing him for nothing. If Ferry is intent on having that capspace, I would at least try a trade for draft picks. Al could net at least a few picks and maybe an expiring contract.

Only as a last resort after we've explored every other option of trade, etc.  And if he is injured.  otherwise it is ridiculous.

Unless we got Lebron and Melo or 2 stars like that I'd say no. Otherwise if stars aligned and they committed to us then yes.

The point isn't to replace Al, it's to create a boatload more of cap space to go after 2 big time players this summer. If we trade Al then we're not opening up that cap space... unless it's for the superstar that we're signing.
