Stretching a waived players contract? I had no idea you could do this

Okay this Tweet isn't Hawks related but the provision could be someday but go ahead and crucify me now for being hypocritical. I just had no idea you could do this

I'm old so sue me... plus I don't pay attention to crap from other teams lol. Maybe this was common knowledge to some of y'all but I had no idea.

Yea hyperbole on the 20 count but basically it was brought up right at the beginning of his deal so you were looking at 10+ years.
