I might be crazy but every time he played he seemed to play really well. Is it strictly a personality/mental issue or am I crazy?

You're not crazy. He played hard so he could stay in the NBA....dude worked his ass off. Just not talented enough

I think it is primarily a mental/personality thing. He has good skills. Good rebounder. Good mid range shot. Big body. Good post moves. Hussles. Not turnover prone. He's not starter material really but most teams have a few lesser players on their bench. But most teams know he IS prone to getting technicals. He is liable to get into it with refs and not keep his mouth shut. A hothead. Not a good locker room guy. Lacks self control.

Ivan has enough talent to play a bench role in the NBA but his lack of self control is what is limiting him.
