Premium Member Diesel Posted July 24, 2014 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 24, 2014 I'm guessing since Nique's rookie year was 32 years ago. Ding Ding Ding... winner winner, chicken dinner. Most of us with the exception of myself Mule and others don't go back much farther than Nique. But top 32 players for 32 years means that for every year since Nique, there has to have been at least 1 guy who could fit?
Premium Member Diesel Posted July 24, 2014 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 24, 2014 Let's break it down.... Danny Manning is a bad word... plus he didn't play a whole year so I guess I can remove him.
Moderators AHF Posted July 24, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted July 24, 2014 Yeah. Danny Manning is a bad word... plus he didn't play a whole year so I guess I can remove him. He neither played much nor played especially well. I think you can remove him from your top 32 completely.

DrReality
I thought the original list was crazy. Also surprised Diesel had Marvin in the top 30 let alone
Premium Member Diesel Posted July 26, 2014 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 26, 2014 I thought the original list was crazy. Also surprised Diesel had Marvin in the top 30 let alone 50 The list is there to discuss. I don't expect everybody to agree. Seriously, some may say that Shareef was top 5. Some may say that Moses was no higher than 20. Some may say Where's Reggie Theus, Josh Childress, and Duane Ferrell. Some may argue against Augmon being higher than Laettner... and all of that is worthy of conversation. As far as Marvin, I wish that I can say that Corbin, DMC, and Childress had a much bigger effect on the Hawks than he did but I think he had one year that he looked pretty good. Always the contract years.

Premium Member Diesel Posted July 29, 2014 Author Premium Member Report Share Posted July 29, 2014 Al may eventually be the 2nd greatest Hawk. I don't think that Al will ever make the impact. He may be the greatest Hawks sidekick ever.
