TheNorthCydeRises
No, it is Danny Ferry's and the rest of the front office fault. Al Horford getting abused by Al Jefferson. Whose fault is that? It should be Horford AND Jefferson abusing someone else's frontcourt.
GameTime
So if Al Horford is boxing out Al Jefferson and a guard knives in and steals the board that's an Al problem? Rebounding is a team effort that's why good rebounding guards are a plus to have. Rebounds count the same no matter who collects them. We are already undersized; the guards need to rebound their position. Guards can't continue to get out rebounded by 15 plus each night. By the way lance and kemba out rebounded their bigs too. I don't see how the guards can be blamed here. Sefo gave you 8. Teague gave you 4. DMC gave you 4. Now the PF/Cs on the other hand (Horf did great with 10)........ Millsap 6. Antić 2. Scott 1. Inexcusable.
Guest
Millsap 6. Antić 2. Scott 1. Inexcusable.Marvin had 2, Zeller 5, Maxiell had 2 - inexcusable. Each PF/C (excluding the Als) had 9 rebounds - nice try though. Our guards don't box out or get rebounds - Gary Neal had 4, smh. Rebounding is a team problem. GameTime
Marvin had 2, Zeller 5, Maxiell had 2 - inexcusable. Kemba and Lance are elite rebounders at their positions though. What is more realistic, asking our guards to be elite rebounders; or asking our bigs to rebound?

Premium Member Peoriabird Posted November 8, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted November 8, 2014 LMAO at people trying to blame the rebounding problems on guards when Stephenson and MKG combine to average more rebounds than Horford and Sap and did it again last night. Sap and Horford are the problem with rebounding and they need to own that. So how many rebounds should Horford get per night if 10 is a problem?
MrMeltdown
Whatever let us all gather to come to Al Horford's aid. His 8.5 rebounds a game for a C should be applauded. GTFOH with that bs.
High5
Horford is just getting back to real NBA action and he's still out-rebounding the great Al Jefferson who everyone is drooling over at the moment. He had 4 rebounds in a game in which we won comfortably. He's averaging 10 rebounds in the 3 losses. He can be better, but he's not the guy we need to be focused on at the moment. Millsap looks like the one who has been out for a year.
