Premium Member Popular Post BrazilianHawk Posted December 7, 2014 Premium Member Popular Post Report Share Posted December 7, 2014 (edited) I doubt it. No way. But.. but... the Hawks suck! They're obviously in a treadmill... I'll take my fandom somewhere else. These Hawks are not to be trusted! Bud-ball is the way to go, but let's not forget the man who built the team. #FREE_DF Edited December 7, 2014 by BrazilianHawk
WraithSentinel
Not sure if it still up. If you go over to the Hawks espn page. They play an interview of Lionel Hollins. Toward the end he said the Hawks are younger version of the team they just played which was the Spurs. http://espn.go.com/nba/team/_/name/atl/atlanta-hawks

Premium Member turnermx Posted December 8, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 Seriously, Free DF is right, totally with you BrazilianHawk! Like I said in the chatroom, Hawks should just add a simple clause to Ferry's contract "avoid at all cost reading racist scouting reports".
High5
It's awesome to be 2nd, but we've played one of the easiest schedules in the league to this point. Our schedule is going to get intense soon. Can't wait to see how they respond.
Premium Member turnermx Posted December 8, 2014 Premium Member Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 1 game at a time. Next mission is to go +.500 on the road at Indy. This is a winnable game, imo. Lets go Hawks!

Popular Post Gray Mule
Atlanta in 1st place in their division X 2 ! When was the last time that both the Hawks and Falcons were #1 in their division? Hawk fans are continually reminded, "Your schedule has been so easy!" Your point? All that is really important is that next game, regardless of who the opponent might be. You can't win them if you don't play them and, just think, if these teams had been the victor instead of the Hawks, the schedule could be considered hard. We've met the enemy and defeated them. That's all any one can ask. GO ATLANTA FALCONS AND HAWKS !!
Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted December 8, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 Reality check. They may be the second seed currently, but I don't think we are the second best team in the East. We'll see where the Hawks are after Christmas. Guest
How does that saying go: you are what your record says you are! I'm just enjoying this team and how they are playing especially on defense and their current position. Will it continue, who the hell knows - I'm living in the moment. Unto the next game. Yes and no. 10-10 against a .400 schedule and 10-10 against a .600 schedule counts the same in the standings, but the latter will be in a much better position once the schedules balance out. I'm not saying the Hawks are going to crash and burn once the schedule heats up, but I want to see them succeed against the better teams before I start dancing in the streets. I've been down this road too many times as an Atlanta fan.
TheFuzz
We've been dominating bad teams. We should be competitive with good teams then. I really do believe we're a top 4 team in the East, and the top 4-5 teams in the East would be competitive for a playoff spot out West.

Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted December 8, 2014 Moderators Report Share Posted December 8, 2014 Kyle postgame, via C-Viv: On where Hawks are in standings: “Every NBA game is tough but we’ve had a favorable schedule to this point. We’ve kind of talked about that we have to get this games. We’ve had some home games. We’ve gotten to play some teams that aren’t as high up in the standings as we are going to play later. I just keep on looking back to last year when we got to the hard part of the schedule and we had guys banged up. We took some losses last year. Every game matters but we try to talk about not only getting wins but to play good basketball because it’s a long season.” ~lw3
