Not sure if it still up. If you go over to the Hawks espn page. They play an interview of Lionel Hollins. Toward the end he said the Hawks are younger version of the team they just played which was the Spurs.

Hawk fans are continually reminded, "Your schedule has been so easy!"  Your point?

All that is really important is that next game, regardless of who the opponent might be.

 

You can't win them if you don't play them and, just think, if these teams had been the

victor instead of the Hawks, the schedule could be considered hard.  We've met the

enemy and defeated them.  That's all any one can ask.

Yes and no. 10-10 against a .400 schedule and 10-10 against a .600 schedule counts the same in the standings, but the latter will be in a much better position once the schedules balance out. 

 

I'm not saying the Hawks are going to crash and burn once the schedule heats up, but I want to see them succeed against the better teams before I start dancing in the streets. I've been down this road too many times as an Atlanta fan.

We've been dominating bad teams. We should be competitive with good teams then. I really do believe we're a top 4 team in the East, and the top 4-5 teams in the East would be competitive for a playoff spot out West.

We’ve gotten to play some teams that aren’t as high up in the standings as we are going to play later.
