Al Or Millsap? Get rid of them both... Both are getting to the age to where they're not part of a future, and the Hawks are NOT a team that is going to win now. This team should be gutted.

 

This team has no future. This is a young vet team with only a couple of players that can improve. Dennis is the only player this team has for the future. Everyone else is a now player or a player that is not very good.

 

I didn't feel good about last night so I figure I'd keep it going. Hawks lose.

Al is pulling down about 7 boards per game.  It's pathetic.  Even more pathetic is that it seems that he's not interested in trying.  I told yall 5 games ago that Al is playing scared.  Scared of the contact.  I got flamed.  Well, here we are 5 games later and his pathetic play is causing us to lose games.  While he still has the aroma of Allstar on him, we ought to look strongly at trading Al for a good Big and then committing to the Sap Man.
 
I feel that this loyalty is misplaced.

 

Bud cant evaluate talent..he insist on playin undrafted guys and second round picks..f*** his system I hope he gets canned.

 

If you look at every team in the NBA. They all are going in some type of direction. Watch the Pistons or Hawks and I am not sure where either team is going. Both teams don't suck. Both teams are good but not good enough. Detroit is full of poor fits with a great coach. Atlanta has decent fits but their two best players don't fit with a great coach. Blame Ferry for that.

 

I don't understand where we are going either. It is like we have all the pieces of a great car that could win a trophy but we're missing the most important piece: the engine. And in this case the engine is the superstar. We have nice starters and a decent bench...and zero chance of advancing past the first round of the playoffs. Again. This team can't be Spurs East unless we get our own Duncan or some other superstar level talent.

 

I see you been sleeping in the vacuum again.  Get out and look around.   Teams like Golden State, Portland, and Memphis make us look like a middle school team.
 
When you look at Marc Gasol and that team.. They are simply a gift to pure basketball. Every position right.  Every body know their role.  The Spurs don't have enough championship Swagger to stop them..
We are the Buffalo Bills of Basketball.  We have a few good pieces but our good pieces are just mediocre when compared to everybody else' good.

 

We're more like an 88 IROC Z-28 with a Corvette chip (Bud and his sytem) in it. The car thinks that it can perform a certain way but its parts aren't capable of performing that way. 

 

The fact remains we might be the worst run franchise in the league.

 

Antić hit one off balance last second shot during last season and now Bud treats him like he is Larry f***ing Bird or Reggie Miller..He lost the playoff series to Indiana..He threw away 2 other games with bad passes in last second situation..

We might as well be playing young talent..no one even guards Pero at the 3 point line for every 5 threes he jacks he might hit one..We got killed on the boards against a Laker team thats smaller than us..

Bud needs someone with basketball knowledge to hold him accountable.. He is a little too comfortable.. 

 

Ferry has had 2.5 bad drafts and some dumb moves.... With the firesale of JJ, Marvin, and Smoove.

 

But when you look at the moves of Ferry... His best moves were trading Marvin for nothing and getting Korver.  Aside from that... There's Nothing.  His drafts are jokes.  His has done two trades where we traded away something for nothing.   He is a something for nothing kind of GM.

 

With what we gained on trading Marvin and Smith we could have had all the players you mentioned.   The point is that while trying to craft his team of nonstars, we have built a bunch of nothing.   You know who we got for Joe?  Antić, Brand, and some other sorry Joker from Europe that we gave away.

 

The Baze and Thabo signing make me want to throw up.

 

I told you guys Thabo was a horrible signing at the time it happened.

 

This team was always going to be a few games above .500 this season and out in the first or second round of the playoffs.  I don't see anything to change my view of them 10 games in.  They will get a couple nice wins this season and lose some games they shouldn't.  We weren't a top team when we won 4 in a row and we aren't a bottom feeder now that we have lost a pair of ugly ones.  Being middle of the pack means we will see more streaks like the two of those.

 

We're a crappy team too.  That's the problem.

 

Everyone on the board should have seen the mediocre Ferry built. They'd rather police rational analysis than look reality in the face

 

Like someone else said, Horford is basically a SG now.  Hawks need to get out of this stock while the gettin's still good.

 

Al is too damn robotic to thrive at pf. Centers dont want to come guard his shot. Pfs will abuse him. I think its time to trade him like jason heyward while his value is high

 

It's 10 games in and this team is crap. The only reason they have 5 wins is because they beat 4 bottom feeders. This team wouldn't sniff .500 out west.

 

Horford is trash. Horford/Sap PF and C combination will not work and it is not because of Sap. We need a guy only interested in rebounding. Faried, Hickson, somebody that has shown that they can hit the boards hard.

 

We suck. Blow it up.

 

Man the Hawks just officially made me lose hope for the season. They gotta get a big that rebounds and a shooting guard who is more than a one trick pony.

It's not about expecting this win streak. It's called being 13 games into the season and not acting like the world is ending or the season is over. If you think that's justification for these quotes then I don't know what to tell you other than seek counseling immediately.

I'm a very positive person but I remember being annoyed with the team and our rotations after losing to Toronto at home. I was just waiting for the Hawks to take the next step and instead we gave up 125ish to the Raptors.
