Rationally:  Normally I would be fine with this but I just don't believe he could sit in the background and play an Elton Brand sort of role.  I wouldn't want him for fear of messing up our lockerroom chemistry.  

 

Now emotionally, I say GTFO.

That's just it... I think anyone you add to the roster late is going to have to be someone who EXPECTS to be rarely used or as an emergency minutes-eater due to an injury. My perception of KG is that he probably isn't the kind of person who could be content with that role.

It would also make it awkward for our bench players to have home fans yelling and cursing at KG while he sits at the end of the bench every game. I don't think there is anyone who would welcome the guy to our team.

Adding KG is ok with me, but I don't think he'd fit in that Harry the Hawk costume very well.

You know, my gut reaction was no.  But then I thought of how much fun it would be to watch him try to play in garbage minutes with his declining skills, a shell of his former self.  And all the while, I would be sitting behind the Hawks bench razzing him, and shouting how bad he sucks.  So yeah.  Maybe.
