Coach Bud- Nuff siad. 

Al Horford - One of the best players in the NBA. 

Dennis S. - One of the most talented PG's in the game. 

Walter T. - Think Rudy Gobert's impact but Tyson Chandler like. 

Korver - One of the best shooters and team defenders in the NBA.

 

Wants: 

Teague - Can't be stopped when he plays to his strengths. 

Millsap - The best scorer on the team and brings it every game.

DMC - Junkyard Dog!

 

Nice to have: 

Thabo - Fits and does what we need from him. 

Scott - Great off the bench scorer. 

Antić - Defensive menace. PnR D and lateral quickness champ. 

 

Either way, I am good: 

Mike M. - Developing into a decent backup center. 

 

Okay, you can leave: 

Jenkins - Can score and shoot at this level on occasion. 

Daye - See Jenkins but no position for Daye.

Bazemore is a keeper

My top 3 are:

 

-BudenFerry

 

-Millsap - I think it's easier to replace Horford's skillset than it is Millsaps.  For instance, I would rather have a tandem of Millsap/Gasol than Horford/Gasol

 

-Korver - His superb shooting ability really open things up for this offense and allows Bud to throw in a ton of looks that we wouldn't have otherwise.

 

I love Teague/Dennis but PGs seem to be a dime a dozen these days. Carroll and Thabo are also extremely important to this team.

I agree with your assessment, except Baze is the perfect backup SG for the next few years. And Moose the perfect backup C. Having Horf, Edy, and Moose as our 3 Cs going forward is DEEP.

I want eveything the same but swap Elton and Austin's roster spots with Edy and Jimmy Butler. With Moose's growth that's a 60 win floor in the East.

I still hold out hope for JJ to develop into at least a poor-man's Morrow or Reddick under Kyle's tutelege for another year.

Regardless of what happens in the playoffs, the Hawks could still use better role players on the frontline and at the wings.  So along with these 3 players, if we can find upgrades for Mack and Bazemore, that's icing on the cake.

Bigdog and Benhill have the real answer.  Find a versatile wing, have Muscala/Tavares develop in to reliable players and we can run the East for the next couple of years with this group.
