All right!  You Atlanta Dream girls and Falcon men, you're other two pro

teams from Atlanta have now set you two great examples.

 

Your Atlanta Braves, thought by many to be the worst team in forever,

are now alone in first place in the east with a 4-0 record.  I know.  It's

still early in their season, still - - - 1st place!

 

Your Atlanta Hawks don't face that uncertain early season problem.  They

have already won the east in the NBA.

 

What is so shocking is that neither Atlanta team was expected to be where

they are today.  We hear, over and over, by the talking heads on TV that all

these teams who have been fighting to get into the playoffs do not want to

end up in seventh place because that team will have to face the Cavs in the

first round.

 

Hawks still get no respect from these "experts" who, I'm sure, have had their

feelings hurt badly.  They didn't expect Atlanta to end up in first place.  They

continued, right up until the race was over, to expect the Hawks to fail.
