volman
Jeffrey Teague is hurt. He tweaked his ankle in the Brooklyn series, and has not been the same. His jump shots are short, his floaters are not going in, and he has missed how many layups now? Teague knows that he is the fuel that fires this team, and the Wizards know that he is not a threat right now in the pick and roll game. I think that Teague is obviously playing very timid and almost not to get hurt again. He is not playing with the same vigor and relentless approach as he did in the regular season. Thoughts?
APE
There's another PG from Wake Forest who's also hurt but actually looks like he gives a sh*t about winning.

JETSET
Teague has worn out his welcome when it comes to excuses. That ankle looked fine in the 3rd quarter when he was aggressive and looking to drive often.
Popular Post TheNorthCydeRises
No more excuses for anybody. I don't want to hear anything about ankles, or fingers, or faces, or shoulders, or allegedly having to take a shit. If you're well enough to be on the floor, give MAXIMUM effort to try to overcome whatever ails you. Excuse time is over. Either they want to win or they don't.
hawks774
Even before the injury, Teague has had a tendency to struggle with his outside shot and confidence. Plus he isnt a consistent finisher. Teague misses too many layups for whatever reason.
JonKoncak
Mike Conley has a broken face and had surgery and CP3 has a hamstring InjurY. No excuses. Edited May 11, 2015 by JonKoncack
ATLHawks3
Yeah you really can't bring up that argument without first acknowledging other players that are playing with more severe injuries and are giving their maximum effort in every game. As much as I love Teague, he hasn't shown in this playoffs that he's willing to give that effort. It shouldn't take being down 10 after half to now suddenly flip the switch. That switch needs to be on at all times, and if a bum ankle is preventing you from giving maximum effort, hand the reigns to Dennis. Gray Mule
Horsefeathers! Did we not all see Paul Pierce, lying on the floor in terrible pain, apparently on the point of death? Yet, he recovered and came on to hit the wining shot in game three. We must remember, however, Paul Pierce is a fast healer. We have all watched him as they rolled him out in a wheelchair, disabled for life, only to return a few moments later and resume play as if nothing had ever happened. Seriously, too bad our own Jeff Teague can't be a fast healer like PP. Edited May 11, 2015 by Gray Mule
MaddinHampton
I think Paul Pierce is related to Wolverine

Guest
Teague needed to play better and he did. That play in the 4th quarter where he hot blocked twice, didn't give up on the play and got a steal then the foul that's the Teague we want to see. He has to find other ways for his impact to be felt in different ways when his shot is not falling.

MaceCase
Actually, Jeffrey proved the "haters" right when he did precisely as they say he should and succeeded. If he happened to have achieved last night's play while playing the same lackadaisical game that people were complaining about then you could say he proved them wrong,
Dakin
im a hater because I said there was no excuse for him giving no effort? Uh. Questioning a player's heart and effort is pretty much the most hatersesque thing you can say, isn't it?
