615Hawk
I know I am obviously a homer here but having watched every minute of this series it seems like we are getting beat up on every rebound and drive to the basket. Nene and Gortat have obviously been the biggest culprits but if you watch Kyle coming off of screens he is held on almost every possesion. Also, what happened to the NBA issuing fines for player flopping, especially in the playoffs? Paul Pierce has got to owe them a fortune since the beginning of this series. Thoughts?
DrReality
It's been a physical game in every series. They are letting them play and we need to toughen up cuz if we win......if it won't get any easier

The Bulls are tough as hell but they're gonna be gassed if they get past Cleveland and we know Thibs has already run them into the ground this season. Having a physical series with the Wizards is definitely a good thing for our confidence though.
Moderators macdaddy Posted May 12, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted May 12, 2015 They are still issuing fines but I don't think the players care much. $5000 isn't a deterrent for these guys. Make them sit the first quarter of the next game. That should do it.
Moderators PSSSHHHRRR87 Posted May 12, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted May 12, 2015 I honestly haven't seen a problem with the refs this series. They've given calls when deserved and they've let the players play.
Gray Mule
I've always thought that the way they figure fines for professional players in any sport is wrong. Players with huge annual salaries and the lowest peon player get hit the same amount. If they would change this to a % of the players annual salary, then that would seem more fair. Example: Star player makes $12 million per year and Peon makes $1.2 million. $5,000.00 fine for the star would be $500.00 for the Peon. Therefore each would be paying the same fine per their income.
Dakin
5,000 is lunch money, even for the "peons". Their accountants probably encourage a few fines per season for tax reasons. Admin
Wait, the referee after-action report said CNC? That's absolute horse$*(@. Yep they said the only wrong call was that Korver should have been called for a foul, I believe at 1:39 remaining, on a screen he set on Nene. They did say that Korver didn't travel on the inbound play though.
