The Hawks played a complete all around game today, even without Korver playing well. GREAT TEAM...and what a coaching job from Bud.....Something Atlanta sports teams are not used to, a great coach who actually make adjustments.

A few months ago, I came on here and mentioned that you need not analyze the season the Hawks were having.  Just savor it and enjoy it.  

 

Now, this team is in the Eastern Conference Finals.  A team that many on here felt should have tanked a year ago.  Here they are, putting their brand of team basketball up against the star of the league in the Eastern Conference Finals.  No one predicted this at the beginning of the year.  Even during their 19 game streak, no one felt the Hawks were real.  

 

They are real though.  This is real.

Kinda funny that a player nicknamed "The Truth" plays in a city full of politicians. Match made in heaven I reckon... and that last play with Pierce failing was such a politician's move: too little, too late.

Took the words out of my mouth/keyboard... COULD NOT HAVE ENDED ANY MORE BEAUTIFULLY THAN THAT!!! Give me that ending over a 50-point win any day. That look on Pierce's face as he learns the ball was in his hands and he found a way to screw it up is just priceless. Priceless, I tell you.
