Moderators lethalweapon3 Posted June 1, 2015 Moderators Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 These logos in circles are getting to be MLB-ish, looks similar to the Padres. I like calling this the "poker chips" era of logo design. Tweet Added - Refresh Page to see it live!If you don't see the Tweet here AFTER REFRESHING PAGE, then it wasn't entered correctly. Guest
I like calling this the "poker chips" era of logo design. ~lw3One of those things is not like the others: no basketball for the Hawks just the Pac, lol. Everything about it is ugly and boring, which sells. Just happy about the club part.
Premium Member sturt Posted June 1, 2015 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 Damn they do remind me of poker chips.... they call em "roundels" on the logo forum. Hmmmmmm... maybe that should make sense given Silver's thinking on the league's future relationship with the gambling industry... no?

Admin capstone21 Posted June 1, 2015 Admin Report Share Posted June 1, 2015 I hope this does not mean that everything will have the atlanta hawks basketball club on it. If I want a shirt I only want the pacman on it ... not that extra stuff
ATLHawks3
This also means that lime green may not be added to the color scheme.
Dimesadozen
I have seen the uniforms. The conceptual uniforms are not accurate. I would say it's the right "idea" but not even close to the final execution. The uniforms are so badass...I can't wait until the reveal Give us some hints? Is there some lime green? Mdizzle5
I wish those hats were black. That would've made the logo stand out more. I mean, color theory 101 people!
devilwentdown2GA
All of these round logos....I wonder if the NBA is preparing for a move for jerseys having sponsors on the center and the logo at the top left of the chest (like soccer). ATLHawks3
They say new jerseys should be revealed before the draft. Of course, this means that new uniforms are on the way. The Hawks are expected to unveil them before June 25's NBA draft. http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2482857-atlanta-hawks-unveil-new-logos-for-2015-16-nba-season

This is what I'm worried about. I know endorsements on jerseys are coming but I was hoping it would be small. Not the central logo like soccer jerseys. Johnnybravo4
The uniforms are holiday unis. The logos are part of the move toward soccer type logos

DJlaysitup
I kind of like the "Club" part. Reminds me of the sign at camp back in Denver: "Denver Broncos Football Club"...and all the rugby teams usually go with "RFC" for Rugby Football Club. It's kind of a throwback but it is also a reminder that the Atlanta Hawks are a privately owned basketball club affiliated with the NBA and located in the city of Atlanta. It's not a team owned by the city. We all know that but some folks don't.
