Off Season Notice from the old man

On August 5, 1960 My beautiful, sweet wife and I exchanger our vows.

 

Strangely enough, after 55 years, she's still putting up with me.

 

We have 4 children, 6 grand children and one great grand son which I hope

will become a Hawks fan.

 

I know.  This is not Hawk related but, when you've been married for 50 or

more years, perhaps the moderators will allow you to post something like this!

Big time congrats!  That's no small feat.  I'll be 10 years in next year.  Not sure I can imagine doing that 4 more times.

For all you guys who wish to know the secret to a long and loving marriage:

 

Remember, wedded bliss is a two way street and you must remember the

50% rule.  If you and your dear wife have a disagreement, half the time you

must admit that she is right and the other half you must admit that you are

wrong.  When you do this, all is peace and harmony.

 

If you don't believe this is true, ask my adopted Hawksquawk grand daughter.

JayBirdHawk and I'm sure she will confirm that this works!
