Official Game Preview: Hawks at Hornets

My posts always has spaces and I don't know how to fix it.  Oh, well.

Came home from church last night, turned on game and found Hawks had 2 points.  After watching for

several minutes, or so it seemed, the Hornets scored and scored and the Hawks had two points.

This was a great example of Atlanta's famous SLEEPWALK!  They have it perfected, apparently, after

watching last night.  No shot would fall, regardless of who took it or from where.  For the entire game

the defense gave up somewhere over 100 points.  Lose by 25 or 30.  Doesn't matter.  A loss by one point

is still a loss but it doesn't feel THIS bad.  Still, we're still in first place in our division.

This is getting to the point of comical if you're in the camp that they're going to keep being inconsistent and not on a good run right now.

Outside of the seven game winning streak and 8-1 start: 8-15 or a 29 win pace.

This team is just straight up awful if they aren't in a winning streak. Straight up. But it still could be a good run, keep in mind if they wrap up this month at say, 30-19 or 31-18, that'd be 16-7 to 17-6 since they were at 14-12.

Sure wouldn't seem that way with these double facepalm games that we're now seeing every 3 games, but that is not only doable, it'd be sad if they can't do it. They can beat Miami and Indiana if they aren't playing on low confidence as they are just ok as well, not great.

This was one of those games where you get a Chinese guy with spiked hair almost grabbing an offensive rebound between 3 Hawks and in the next sequence gets bumped somehow way after the fact of missing a lay-up and going to the line.

Bad legs against willing but less able legs.

Lin's hair is ridiculous.    I usually don't care.  I never really cared about birdman looking all crazy but that much product in your hair to go play a game just seems dumb.

It's games like these when you wish you had a back to back.   Waiting on friday to forget about this one is painful.

Outside of the 8-15 we are 15-1 which is a 76 win pace. Bottom line is we are what our overall record is. We can be inconsistent with our effort, I just hope they turn up their focus after the break.

A lot of the NBA is up and down minus the big three. I think we will be okay if we remain healthy.
