People were shocked by the SIMPLE fact that you put beef on beef. This current Hawks team is built no different than the Billy Knight crews. The ONLY difference is they have a true point guard and a better offensive system. Other than that, Horford has ALWAYS been part of the solution AND problem. The Hawks have been trying to force this 5 WING attack on the league for years. Different coach, front office, SAME philosophy. Thats why i chuckle every time i see a " Hawks need a small forward" post. Heck, they got 10 forwards and 2 point guards on their 12 deep roster........... Teague and Dennis are the only TRUE guards on the team, everybody else is a forward. Lastly, again, rebounds are POSSESSIONS. This stuff is simple. If you cant rebound, you better be shooting 40 percent or better from the field...... Sliiiiiightly disagree here, but the point persists. We don't have a single true SF, not even Thabo. Thabo was a SG before we nabbed him, all of our other wings are true SGs asked to play out of position. About the rebounds, I think its more like you better shoot closer to 50% from the field if you cant rebound.

Lately from Broussard who I would add was right about Dwight not wanting to come here a few years back in free agency and many hawks fans clowned him for it. Other sources have also been saying Dwight wants to play here for a few months now.
Premium Member Sothron Posted February 15, 2016 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 15, 2016 Unreal. Last I had heard Dwight wanted to come to Atlanta in his first three seasons but after that had no interest.

I mean he could have come here on his own as a free agent and added to the current roster, but now we have to trade 2 of our starters to nab him effectively weakening the team overall just casue he all of a sudden feels like playing for us? Man F outta here with that noise Dwight.

Guest
Still not sure what yall see in Winslow. Basically a taller Marcus Smart aka a player too small to play the position he's likely most effective as. Winslow is a college 4. Hustles, which is nice, but i dont see him being a great 3. He's Battier at best, which ain't good enough for Teague value wise.

When he's rolling off of a pick he's damn near unstoppable. But the Rockets are morons who refuse to use him properly. I'm not crazy about trading for him because he's not going to resign here anyway but if we can get Winslow in the deal then it's basically Teague for Winslow and that's not a bad deal for us. We aren't winning it all this year so at least we'd have a half season to see Dwight in this system and it might work so well he wants to continue playing in it. Worst case he sells a lot of tickets. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Another good post. My thinking is EXACTLY in line with what you are saying. Give him a half a year and see what happens. The problem appears the Hawks want more for Teague and Horford. Throw Sam Dekker in there as a wildcard. Hawks can gamble on that too. Dude didn't want to play here, but all of the sudden he does now? I wouldn't trust him, hawks can trade for him and Howard still walks, leaving hawks with nothing. Maybe he didn't wanna come before because we have struggled as a franchise. We won 60 last year and maybe he thinks we have something and he could help out in rebounding and defense. RWF
Tobias Harris, Victor Oladipo available Quote 1 hour ago – via ESPN.com The youth-laden Magic have made it known they are in the market for veterans as they continue to slide out of playoff contention. Sources say Orlando has been willing to discuss the prospect of moving some of its more familiar names, including former No. 2 overall pick Victor Oladipo and the recently re-signed Tobias Harris.
