First of all, when one "resigns", it is usually the choice of the employee.  Otherwise it's getting fired or terminated.  If they fire them while still under contract, the pay the contract but lose the employee.

Now, if you are talking about re-signing them, Teague's contract isn't up for two more years, so there would be no need to re-sign Teague.

Bottom line, you are at least half right, assuming we have not misunderstood your intent.

I just had a thought (or my mind is about to give out with all of this homework), if the Hawks is not going to trade off Teague, Horford, or anybody in the core, why don't Coach Bud, Wes or anybody in that FO say it not beating around the bush.  My F5 button can only go so far.
