Dejay
Did I just get punk'd? Even Billy Knight would laugh at these jackass trade proposals. Why not propose Teague, Horford, and Millsap for Evan Turner and a 2nd rounder while they're at it???
Hawkmoor
The ONLY reason the proposal of kelly, dallas first round pick, boston first round pick, and david lee to atlanta for horford, korver and moose MIGHT be a bad deal is because of the fact that dallas pick is top 7 protected. Now, SOME general managers might look at the mavericks pick and dont care because most likely, the mavericks pick would be around 12-16 in the coming draft. Dallas doesnt tank, so finishing around 12-16 is a good bet. So, most likely, the worst case scenerio would be the Hawks getting Dallas pick at 12-16, Boston's pick, which projects to be around the 22-28 pick, Kelly and Lee for Horford, Korver and Moose. Me thinks its not a bad deal if Atlanta changes its mindset about wanting to stash draft picks over seas and go after PRODUCTIVE picks and not projects in the first round. You STILL got Teague, and would be adding Kelly, Lee and TWO first round picks essentially for Horford , a broken down Korver and a Moose. Guest
Dallas is currently in the playoffs, so that pick is currently slotted at around #18, it's not a lottery pick. With Gasol out with a broken foot, Grizz will probably slide, Dallas moves up.
Guest
There are no good trades with BOS that do not include the Nets' pick. Doesn't matter what order to try to make those warped puzzle pieces fit together.
Dejay
Nothing can come good out of making a deal with the Celtics unless you start the conversation with getting Brooklyn's pick. David Lee, Kelly, and their pick in the 20s? Forget it...

All of these deals benefit the other teams. The Blake Griffin deal is interesting, but letting our only true SF/ best defender go would be catastrophic. Plus, Griffin is not a center. He plays the exact same position as the best player on this team.

TheNorthCydeRises
People REALLY underalue Horford. We're better of letting him walk in the summer, than to make some of these non-impact type deals. Any trade involving Horford MUST bring back a legitimate star talent back to ATL. It seems you REALLY overvalue Horford. He is on an expiring contract, whoever wants him can make an offer in the offseason. Nobody will take the risk to trade a star for Al and lose him in FAncy some months later....
Guest
This is what Boston got for Rajon Rondo on an expiring deal from Dallas: Jameer Nelson, Jae Crowder, Brandan Wright, a 2015 first-round pick, and a 2016 second-round pick. Is Al worth more or less than Rondo at that time?

Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted February 10, 2016 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 10, 2016 Unfortunate time to be sellers if you are the Hawks. The players they want to move are at their lowest value that they have been in recent history. With Horford expiring and not playing lights his value is probably at an all time low. Rondo wasn't playing lights out during the time this deal was made either to the mavs
