benhillboy
I would like to see Dennis' hockey assists as well but I can't find them. 7 drives a game is good but he can get to 8. DeMarcus Cousins in the midst of 48 guards. Damn. Dennis' assist to turnover could stand to improve at 2.17 (Conley killing everybody at 4). Al and Draymond at an impressive 20th and 21st, again amongst 40 guards.
bumpyphish1
This may seem farfetched but I think his ceiling is a perennial all-star starter. If he can get his 3 pt % to about .35 and overall fg % to about .44-.45, he has everything else already--it will gel in time.

Very true, but one is a 22 year old, in year 3 of his career while the other is a 27 year old who should be in the Prime of his career and should not be making as many mistakes as he does. Premium Member BrazilianHawk Posted February 25, 2016 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 25, 2016 Dennis will be really good, no doubt about it in my mind. Can't say really if he gets to top five, but who really cares about that? Dennis will be good, he has already shown a lot of good things this year, but to be honest, I still yell at the screen whenever he throws those bounce passes (should I say bounce-turnovers?). He is 22 years old and in his 3rd season. Which players put up similar numbers (18+ points, 7+ assists, 1+ steal, 4+ rebounds per 36 minutes) in any of their first 3 years while being 23 years or younger? 4 players in NBA history. HYPE! ;) Russel Westbrook, Clyde Drexler, Rod Strickland and Dennis If we lower the points per 36 minutes to 15 per game, the list is a little longer and Dennis has two qualifying season (this and last year). Thats actually not bad company I would say. Rod Strickland and Kenny Anderson are the 2 guys on that list that are most comparable to Dennis. He has that swag to his game like Kenny had. Premium Member Atlantaholic Posted February 26, 2016 Premium Member Report Share Posted February 26, 2016 Sky is the limit for Dennis IMO. The dude is a phenomenal athlete and he has a ton of skills. He just needs to figure out the mental part and he will be a great one.
