ClevelandRocks
The Hawks had the same number of free throw attempts tonight and still lost by double digits. The biggest no-call of the night? LeBron getting his face raked off while driving to the basket, which gave the Hawks the ball, a 5 on 4, and two wide open shot attempts. If the NBA were cheating the results, they would've issued a flagrant on that play. It'll be interesting to see if this post gets approved or edited like my previous one. Mods here treat any non-Hawks fans as rulebreakers, which is absolute nonsense. Edited May 3, 2016 by ClevelandRocks

If you'll see the posts about the reffing from last game, fans on the site here were surprised at how the game was called. A few bad calls on both sides but pretty balanced. Nobody is claiming conspiracy in game 1 among the Cleveland or Atlanta fan bases. That is how it should be. On the subject of the original post, do you not think that MJ got special treatment from the refs back in the day? I remember it - including during playoff series against the Cavs. All NBA Superstars get privileged treatment to one degree or another. Lesser known players are second class citizens ala two off the ball punches/hits to Dennis' face by IT that went unpunished live or in review. Fans here just don't want to see that privileged treatment swing a game. On the subject of the board and its moderators, you are welcome to participate in the posting. We won't abide people coming on doing the "our team rules, your team stinks" baiting routine but we have enjoyed plenty of conversation with rival fans in the past. Treat people here with respect and you'll be in good shape.
