Guest
Rick Bonnell: I hear from a friend the Hawks really like Buddy Hield; 12 and 21 in a package to move up and draft him? – via Twitter rick_bonnell For the love of God, get him! He's gonna be a star!

DJlaysitup
That would be great - but is 12 + 21 really going to move you up much...21? Maybe a couple spot if things go right.
Guest
Well, we do have a future 1st from Minny to toss in.
Lurker
He's pretty much what the Hawks NEED at SG offensively but I don't know that they can move up further than #8. He's a good three point shooter and can attack the basket. Edited June 23, 2016 by Lurker
NBASupes
12 and Tim Hardaway Jr for the #5 pick.

Guest
Might as well just take Beasley who's basically a more athletic, younger version of Hield. Also, Rick Bonnell don't have no friends. Certainly not any with any relevant, Hawk-related intel.
h4wkfan
If we are going to package up all our assets for Buddy, I'd much rather see how far 12, 21, Minny's 1, and THJ would get us in the Jimmy Butler sweepstakes. Looking at that I'm not sure that's anywhere close to what they would ask...but it's a starting point.

I would if I wanted more picks and needed bigs which Minny really doesn't. It makes more sense for the Pels to trade for the 12 and 21 for #6. They need bigs and more depth. Getting Valentine/Richardson/Beasley and someone like Sabonis/Poetrl/Davis can do wonders for them potentially. It's said they want Murray or Dunn. Looking to trade if either one of them are gone. For us, 6 and 8 is likely the trade up spots.

RWF
Assuming first 2 picks are locked in, Celtics (or a trade partner - Bulls/Sixers) could be looking at Dunn, Suns at 4 pick Chriss. Wolves I believe would choose Murray, but this could be the spot we need to start looking at to trade up for. New Orleans would no doubt pick Buddy at 6. Wonder if they would trade with us, knowing we would take him? Edited June 23, 2016 by RWF

If they are getting back a pack of picks with the top one being #12 I think the fact that we would take Buddy would be irrelevant because even if we didn't he wouldn't be there when the #12 rolled around.
