Premium Member cam1218 Posted June 24, 2016 Premium Member Report Share Posted June 24, 2016 Wow! That's a lot of money for a player who can't stay healthy.
RWF
Why would someone overpaying Noah makes Horford a must sign for us? To give Horford more of our cap room isn't beating Lebron in the next few years.

JSmooooove
Well if this is true, you best believe big AL will be getting the Max and Baze will be getting 15/mil per year from someone.
Guest
That's just stupid. If true, no one should be concerned about the money we're likely to pay Alison.
Moderators AHF Posted June 24, 2016 Moderators Report Share Posted June 24, 2016 Al is going to get max money. It is a no-brainer in the current NBA. Noah? He should not get max money even today. That should also be a no-brainer. The health risk and slip in play is much bigger for Noah.

Yes he is and why people are so crazy over this confounds me. In 2017 when the cap hits 110+ million we will be in a prime time position. Here is the link I am basing this on, it obviously does not have Horford, this seasons free agent signings, or our two rookies included. But 2017 will be a exciting free agent year. http://hoopshype.com/salaries/atlanta_hawks/

The fact that 2016-17 is higher means 2017-18 should be lower.
Popular Post MaceCase
"Thank you for your services Neñe but when we acquired you from the Nuggets we were expecting a much more injury prone player. Sorry to inform you but we will be looking elsewhere for that caliber of player, we wish you bad luck in your future endeavors and know that many medical staffs will be lucky to have you."- E.G.

And I did misread it. It is expected one side – most likely the players – will opt out.

Vet minimum players will be getting MLE and above type money just so teams can hit the required team minimums. Definitely! GS after Al too. Baze probably be in a bidding war between Brooklyn (Atkinson) and NO (Ferry).
