Lurker
He is not free of issue but if he can tighten up consistency with his shot and still have a secondary playmaker alongside him, I can see him putting up this next year (NOT per 36): 20 PTS/6.5 AST/2 REB/1.5 STL (3.3 TO) on 47% FG/36.5% 3PT/85% FT. Guest
My guess with Dennis's nbrs in bold: 29.5 mpg (He'll be just shy of 30 mpg depending on our backups) 31.5 (if we had a decent backup he prolly would have played less) 16.2 ppg 17.9 7.1 apg 6.3 3.7 rpg 3.1 2.2 spg 0.9 (this is dissapointing) 46% FG 45% (close) 85% FT (He needs to improve this) 85.5 (nailed it) 34% 3pt 34% (nailed it) 2.7 turnovers (He'll be playing with better players so hopefully they'll be ready for his passes - he needs to fix that bounce pass at the knees) 3.3 (he had some really bad high turn over games). Move him up to 31 (50% more) minutes per game and just multiplying his stats by 1.5...you get 16.5 PPG 6.6 APG 3.9 RPG 1.4 steals 3.45 t/o I think any Hawks fan would be okay with that....I'll actually say 17/7/3 with 3 t/o He Finished 17.9, 6.3, 3.1, .9, 3.3. Pretty close.

I'd be a whole lot happier to see the points stay the same and the Assists to go up to 8+. That would make my day.

I beat you...;-) I think...TO THE CALCULATION MOBILE!!!! It was close...6-4 me in categories ..you nailed FT and 3pt%...I nailed FG only... Not completely sure but I think we might be the closest and AHF as well...gotta look over everyone's posts again though. These are fun to look at after the season. Actually you beat me by 0.9 after comparing our predictions to the real numbers, however you did not put a stat for blocks...my prediction 0.3....actual was 0.2. Very close. Although 2.2 spg would have led the league by a wide margin. So i think you set yourself up to fail on that one. Get some guys who can knock down a 3 in here and that apg will go up. Yes, that's my magical math. Basically I said .. Dennis points : actual: 17.9 ppg spud's prediction: 17.3 Jaybird's prediction: 16.2 AHF's prediction: 16.0 Dennis assists: actual: 6.3 spud's prediction: 7.7 jaybird's prediction: 7.1 AHF's prediction: 6.5 Spud :points (17.9-17.3=.6)+assists (7.7-6.3=1.4) Add the two results (.6+1.4=2.0) My score after two categories is +2.0 Jaybird: points (17.9-16.2=1.7)+ assists (7.1-6.3=.8) Add the two results (1.7+.8=2.5) Jaybird's score after two categories is +2.5 AHF: points(17.9-16.0=1.9)+ assists (6.5-6.3=.2) Add the two results (1.9+.2=2.1) AHF's score after two categories is +2.1 After two categories (points and assists) Spud +2.0 Jaybird +2.5 AHF +2.1 Subract our differentials and I'm up by .5 on Jaybird and .1 on you after two categories. I basically did this with all the categories and that's how I came up with the #'s. I know it's prolly not the best system but it was all I could come up with? How would you do it @AHF? Also, note that it's harder to calculate when people skip categories. Like you and Jaybird both decided to skip the BLOCKS category. That's when the numbers get screwed. So the final results aren't really completely clean ....I could skip that category altogether but it kind of screws and penalizes me because my prediction on blocks was 0.3 and the actual was 0.2 so it might have helped me a bit. But still not enough to beat Bird as I'm sure she probably wouldn't have put Dennis above 1.0 block in which case she prolly would won by 0.1-0.7 anyways. In conclusion @AHF HELP A BROTHER OUT!!!! :-)

Moderators AHF Posted June 1, 2017 Moderators Report Share Posted June 1, 2017 Sounds good to me, @Spud2Nique. Guest
@Spud2Nique I wanted to see what Dennis' playoffs numbers looked liked (in RED) 29.5 mpg (He'll be just shy of 30 mpg depending on our backups) 31.5 (if we had a decent backup he prolly would have played less) 35.2 16.2 ppg 17.9 24.7 7.1 apg 6.3 7.7 3.7 rpg 3.1 2.3 2.2 spg 0.9 (this is dissapointing) 1 46% FG 45% (close) 45 85% FT (He needs to improve this) 85.5 (nailed it) 83 34% 3pt 34% (nailed it) 42 (didn't see that coming) 2.7 turnovers (He'll be playing with better players so hopefully they'll be ready for his passes - he needs to fix that bounce pass at the knees) 3.3 (he had some really bad high turn over games). 1.7 (this was impressive considering how bad he was in regular season) This is what you want - to see guys step up and play better in the playoffs. Be better than in the regular season.
